The Dealership / Slayer connection.
Their names are Guy and Chris.
Guy used to be in a serious metal outfit called Epidemic. He's our recording engineer. Chris is in Los Bastardos and used to be the drum tech for Slayer. Yes, that Slayer. The thrash(?) metal band.
They are the techs behind Dealership's third album.
One day, Chris is tuning my snare drum. He asks, "How would you like it to sound?"
Me: "Cutesy."
Chris stops tuning. Guy stops coiling cords. Both take a moment.
Chris resumes tuning. "Well, that's something you don't hear every day."
