Did I dream a real thing?

Last night I dreamt of a concept I was calling price gating which described the automatic raising or lowering or price of an item in conjuction with the rate of sales per store over a sample period of time. Kind of like the sound gates used in audio recording.

The automatic part was the part which intrigued me since it just screamed "Here's a job for software."

Yeah...I need a vacation.
